Hyperpigmentation, Brown Spots, Rosacea, Broken Capillaries Skin problems include hyperpigmentation from brown spots, sun damage, melasma or pregnancy mask; severe redness from broken capillaries and rosacea; and scaring from acne or other inflammatory changes. For sun damage and depigmentation, we offer vibradermabrasion, chemical peels, Intense pulsed light (IPL), Cosmelan MD, and Hydroquinone lightening cream therapy.
IPL is a very effective treatment for reduction of broken capillaries and rosacea while helping to reduce enlarged pores, stimulating new collagen production, and creating smooth, even toned skin. Scaring can be reduced by combination of IPL, vibradermabrasion and dermal fillers. Areas of treatment include face, neck, decollte or chest area as well as any area of damaged skin. These treatments offer long lasting results and multiple sessions may be required, depending on the severity of the area needing treatment.
Acne Treatment Prevent scarring and build self-confidence with an acne treatment program. Based on your concerns and type of acne, Dr. Brandish may recommend Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), Blue-U light therapy or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) as well as other medical therapies targeted specifically to reduce acne and scarring. Chemical peels and vibrodermabrasion for deep penetration into dead skin layers can be used to clean pores, build collagen and minimize future break-outs. Dermal fillers may be used in conjunction to above therapy for improving any acne scarring.
Hair Removal We offer Lightsheer laser hair removal; the most advanced and effective treatment for permanent reduction of unwanted hair. This safe, quick hair removal system can be used on the face, neck, underarms, bikini, chest, back, nipple area and legs. More than one treatment is required to target hair follicles in their active growth phase.
Veins There are multiple therapies for varicose veins, spider veins and broken blood vessels including laser, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment, and sclerotherapy (for larger leg veins). Dermal fillers can also be used to diminish the appearance of veins on the hands.
