What is Neck Tightening?

Neck tightening involves smoothing out wrinkles and tightening the sagging skin of the neck to turn back the aging clock. At Brandish Clinic, we employ several different advanced, non-surgical approaches to neck tightening.

Treating neck wrinkles and sagging skin with dermal fillers

Dermal Fillers can provide a powerful softening effect on the neck lines and wrinkles by not only through its collagen stimulating properties , but also by ‘filing in’ the lines. When dermal fillers are strategically injected in skin regions of the neck, it provides volume and hydration into the injection site. This helps to plump the skin and smooth out the wrinkles, allowing for a tighter and more youthful appearance of the neck.

Treatment for neck tightening with Botox

As an injectable neurotoxin, Botox can provide temporary and mild paralysis to the platysmal bands and other muscles in the neck to allow tightening and rejuvenation. By using Botox on the platysmal bands and muscles around the jawline and chin, the appearance of sagging skin and neck wrinkles can be alleviated as the muscles contributing to these conditions relax. This is sometimes called a Botox neck lift.

Treating for neck tightening with protégés radio frequency

Finally, Protege Radio Frequency can also be used to provide neck tightening treatment. Protege RF uses radiofrequency waves delivered into the skin to heat the tissues to the optimal temperature for collagen production. This helps break down old collagen and encourages the skin to produce new collagen, resulting in a more healthy and rejuvenated skin elasticity and structure. When applied to the neck, this treatment helps reinvigorate the skin and turn back signs of aging on the neck.
